Margaret is a respiratory clinical measurement scientist with over 30 years clinical experience performing lung function in children and adults. She has a PhD in Physiology examining inflammation in airways of children with asthma and cystic fibrosis. Her current research interests include the development of appropriate spirometry reference values for spirometry for Indigenous Australians, teaching spirometry to Indigenous health workers and changes in lung function in children attending specialist respiratory clinics in remote Queensland communities. Margaret is the Research Group Manager for the Cough, Asthma and Airways Research Group.
