
Adam Burke studies process mining, the computational construction and analysis of process models from organizational event log data. His current research focuses on automatic discovery and conformance of stochastic process models mined from event logs, including models of process change over time.
Adam has held a variety of technical and software lead roles at banks, exchanges, government regulators and consultancies in Singapore, Australia and the UK, particularly in electronic and algorithmic trading. This has included development, architecture, large-scale analytics, QA and Agile/DevOps transformation roles, and presentation at industry conferences. Other research interests include technical debt and sociotechnical systems.
