Shokoufeh Ghalibafan

    Shokoufeh Ghalibafan is currently studying for a PhD in Information Systems at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT). She holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in computer science. In her master’s thesis, she worked on improving the quality of the event log using an external source. Her bachelor’s thesis focused on making software more flexible using design patterns. She has expertise in database systems, object-oriented programming, web development, data structures, and algorithms. Shokoufeh has previous experience in managing databases, web programming, software design and analysis, and teaching as a TA.

    As a member of the BPM Research Group at QUT, she is interested in business process-oriented data and effective data quality management. Her current research involves leveraging AI and visual analytics techniques to improve event log quality, which is crucial for understanding and optimizing processes.
