Adolescent Aware is a longitudinal study, conducted by Dr Catherine Quinn and a team of researchers from CYSRA, with over 2000 students from 14 schools in South East Queensland, which follows these students from Grade 7 and 8, through to the end of high school. A variety of outcomes are assessed in the study including alcohol and cigarette use, wellbeing, resilience, depression, social anxiety, bullying, victimization, technology use, sleeping habits and dieting. The study examines how social cognitive processes, and peer influence affect the above outcomes. At the end of May 2017 we will commence data collection for the Third phase, concluding in September.
