Have you been to a YDC Sharing Summit? Have you perhaps presented at one or would you like to? Now is the time to start putting your plans into action.
Join us at the eighth annual YDC Sharing Summit on 29 and 30 October 2018 to explore how to develop and sustain excellence in mathematics pedagogy and delivery through YuMi Deadly Maths. Anyone interested in YuMi Deadly Maths is welcome to attend the summit, whether or not you are involved in a YDC project.
We know YuMi Deadly Maths is excellent when teachers say, “Why didn’t someone teach me like this when I was at school?” and students say, “Maths is my favourite subject now!” We know it is sustainable when it continues in a school beyond the initial training period and is passed on to new staff. As one attendee said about the summit last year:
“It just reinforces that YDM is a great pedagogy and
whole school collaboration seems to yield the greatest success.”
If you are a current or past participant in a YDC project, you are invited to present your YuMi Deadly Maths stories and classroom experiences at the summit. Registration is free for up to two presenters per school.
For more information and to register to attend or present at the summit, please visit the YDC Sharing Summit website. Stay tuned for more news to come including our keynote speakers.
Where is it being held, how much, and where is registration form?
