We are pleased to announce that the YuMi Deadly Centre website has been revamped and updated.
The new website includes this YDC blog where you will find regular news updates.
All the free resources from the old website, including the YuMi Deadly Maths Teacher Resources (lesson plans) are available for you to download from the Resources section of the new site.
Several new lesson plans suitable for Year 7 or Year 8 have been added and the remaining Year 8 and 9 resources will be progressively uploaded as they are completed. Thank you for your patience with awaiting these resources!
In the Events section of the site you will find the dates of upcoming PD workshops for the different YDC projects. If you are a project participant, you can check this section of the site for details. Information and updates about the 2018 YDC Sharing Summit to be held on 29–30 October will also be posted there.
The new website has been built using QUT’s Research Web Platform, which was created to enable researchers to easily showcase their work online to industry, partners and the research community. YDC staff can now manage and update the website content, giving us more flexibility and agility.
Subscribers to the YDC mailing list will receive an email update whenever a new post is added to the blog (we promise not to clog up your inboxes; communication will just be a little more frequent than previously).
Please have a look around the new site and let us know what you think. Your feedback is always welcome.
