QUT is working with leading First Nations social impact cultural design company, Bilbie Virtual Labs, to create a virtual heritage toolkit for simulating, representing and promoting the cultural heritage of First Nations people across Australia.
Bilbie Virtual Labs has designed and developed its own software development kit (SDK) named Virtual Songlines to cost-efficiently, authentically and comprehensively deliver more than 50 virtual heritage landscapes related to cities and regional towns across Australia. This allows users to interact with these locations and immerse themselves in the environments.
