QUT Celebrates the Grand Opening of the Water Innovation and Sustainable Environments (WISE) Lab
Brisbane, January 2024 — QUT is proud to announce the official opening of its cutting-edge Water Innovation and Sustainable Environments Laboratory (WISE Lab) located in Q Block at the Gardens Point campus. This new facility solidifies QUT’s leadership in water management and sustainability, marking a significant milestone in the university’s commitment to pioneering research and innovation.
The state-of-the-art WISE Lab is set to play a crucial role in advancing research and development in sustainable water management. It aims to foster closer collaboration between QUT’s academics and key players in the water industry, creating opportunities to develop innovative solutions for water challenges.
The opening ceremony was attended by esteemed partners, including Queensland Urban Utilities, Seqwater, the Local Government Association of Queensland, and the Queensland Department of Environment and Science.
