We are pleased to share that Ying Liu has successfully passed her PhD confirmation under the supervision of Dr. Yang Liu and Dr. Kenn Lu.
Ying’s research focuses on granular sludge reactors for managing high-ammonia wastewater, a crucial area in wastewater treatment. In her first year, she independently designed, built, and operated her reactor system, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and resilience in overcoming technical challenges. Her ability to think critically and work autonomously has been truly commendable.
