Lindy McAllister is Professor Emeritus of Work Integrated Learning in the Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Unit of the Faculty of Health Sciences. Prof McAllister is recognised nationally and internationally as a leader in preparing graduates for professional practice in speech pathology. She was made a Life Member of speech Pathology Australia for services to higher education. She has undertaken research, and curriculum development and review work with a range of allied health disciplines and in medicine. Prof McAllister has five internationally published books, more than 70 peer reviewed journal articles, more than 30 book chapters, and 14 published peer-reviewed conference proceedings on topics related to preparation for practice and clinical education.
