Sivaram Sivapalan is a Civil Engineering Graduate with a Bachelor of the Science of Engineering Honours Degree from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. He completed his Master of Engineering degree where his research focused on Seismic Fragility Functions of Accelerations – Sensitive Contents in Tall Building: Effect of Floor Acceleration Response Spectrum at the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand. Prior to the PhD career at QUT, he worked as a Research Assistant and Demonstrator for nearly two years. Sivaram joined the Wind and Fire Engineering Lab in January, 2022 and his Doctoral research is based on Developing Cold-Formed Steel Floor Systems and Investigating the Fire Performance.
