Roshni Ahamed Mohamed Ashraf is a Civil and Environmental Engineering Graduate with a Bachelor of Science of Engineering Honours Degree from the University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka. Before commencing his PhD career at QUT, he worked as a Lecturer and Demonstrator at the University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka for nearly one and a half years.
Roshni Ahamed joined the Wind and Fire Engineering Lab in March 2025 as a Doctoral Student and his research focuses on Enhancing the Load-Bearing Capacity of Cold-Formed Steel Truss Systems Using Built-Up Sections and Full or Partial Plating with strong collaborating leading industry partners such as NASH and Scottsdale Construction Systems.
