Imanthi Subasinghe holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Honours) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka. Prior to commencing her M.Phil. studies at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), she gained research experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at Clemson University, South Carolina, USA. She also served as a Lecturer at the University of Jaffna and Rajarata University for two years, complemented by industry experience as an Electrical Engineer in Sri Lanka.
Imanthi joined the Wind and Fire Engineering Laboratory at QUT in February 2025 as an M.Phil. candidate. Her research focuses on the Development of a data-driven framework for bushfire vulnerability risk assessment for buildings.
