Sumithira Narayanasamy is currently a lecturer in Optometry and Vision Science Programme, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Sumithira completed her PhD “Visual demands of modern primary classrooms and the impact of refractive anomalies on academic performance” in 2015, under the direction of Professor Joanne Wood, Dr Stephen Vincent and Dr Geoff Sampson. The primary focus of her research is impact of vision on children’s academic performance.
