Prof Ravi Thomas

    Professor Ravi Thomas is a Glaucoma specialist with sub-specialty training in Clinical Epidemiology, Cataracts and Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. He is currently Director of Glaucoma Services at Queensland Eye Institute, Brisbane, Australia and Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Queensland, Brisbane and has a Visiting Professor position at Beijing University. The focus of Professor Thomas’s research has been to identify the risk factors for the detection of ocular diseases, particularly glaucoma and determine the impact of these ocular conditions on visual performance and quality of life. Professor Thomas also has expertise in the concepts and interpretation of statistical techniques applied to clinical data.
