    Dr. Chaparro is a Professor of Human Factors and Behavioural Neurobiology and the director of the Aging, Perception, & Performance Lab at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. His research interests include visual requirements of driving, the effects of visual impairment on driving, and speech perception and cognitive performance.

    Dr. Chaparro has taught Human Factors and systems, Principles of Human Factors, Seminar in Perception, Aging: Behavioural and Biological Foundations,  Driving Safety: Role of Driver Behaviour and Performance.
