Theoretical and Practical Vision Laboratory
The Theoretical and Practical Vision Laboratory uses statistics, modelling and experimentation to improve clinical assessment of the visual system.
The lab’s research focuses on:
- The measurement of visual acuity
- Optical measurement of the eye’s structures
- Statistical assessment of the repeatability of clinical measures
The following staff from the Theoretical and Practical Vision Laboratory manage research projects and deliver research outcomes:
- Dr Andrew Carkeet
- Dr David Alonso Caneiro
HDR Students currently completing their doctoral research with the Theoretical and Practical Vision Laboratory are:
- Ms Barsha Lal
- Mr Andy Christiansen
