OVS PhD Student, Zachery Quince Publishes Research

Optometry and Vision Science PhD candidate Zachery Quince has recently developed a novel method to quantify the elastic modulus of soft contact lenses using OCT imaging. This technique (static compression optical coherence elastography) can also be used to study the biomechanical properties of ocular tissues.

Zachery holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree majoring in electronic and biomedical engineering. In addition to his PhD studies, Zachery tutors engineering undergraduate students in mathematics and electronics.
