
Tayem Zgool is a Ph.D. student at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), specializing in wearable point-of-care ultrasound imaging for the automated detection of abdominal haemorrhage. His research, conducted in collaboration with CSIRO, focuses on developing AI-driven ultrasound systems to improve real-time haemorrhage detection in emergency and remote healthcare settings.
His work involves exploring ultrasound imaging techniques, AI-based analysis, and 3D image integration to enhance diagnostic accuracy. He is currently gaining experience in medical image processing and AI applications through an internship with CSIRO’s Medical Image Analysis Team. Tayem aims to contribute to advancing AI-driven ultrasound technology, making it more accessible and effective for clinical use.
