Last week, we welcomed our first cohort of Microcredential students into the QUIQ Lab for an immersive ultrasound skills day, and what a great start it was!
As part of the Microcredential in Ultrasound Principles and Practice (CM01), students gathered on campus for a day of hands-on learning, exploring the fundamentals of ultrasound image formation in the interactive ultrasound lab.
From working with gel and high-fidelity simulators to diving into core concepts like acoustic windows and probe manipulation, students had the chance to put theory into practice—and get a little gel on their hands along the way!
It was fantastic to see the energy and engagement throughout the day, with students coming from diverse clinical and academic backgrounds. Whether it was their first time holding a transducer or a refresher on scanning technique, the day offered something for everyone.
We’re already looking forward to run ning another skills day in Semester 2. If you’re interested in joining the next intake, check out the course details here.
