A few weeks ago, three QUIQ researchers presented their work at the Acoustical Society of America 2023 Conference at Sydney Convention Centre. It was an honour to be able to speak about the novel ultrasound technologies and techniques that are advancing our field, as well as meet so many other people interested in the topics, especially at an international level.
Heather Allen spoke about the quantification of liver fat using ultrasound technology, Maria Antico on the real-time 3D reconstruction form multiple simultaneous ultrasound scans for enhanced imaging and Jacqui presented on the use of Shear Wave Elastography in healthy muscles. Prof Fontanarosa chaired multiple sessions.
The technologies presented at these events are the clinical standards of tomorrow. We are extremely proud of our researchers, who held the audience captivated, fielded questions and networked with many international organisations over the three days.
