Welcome to the Teachers and Teaching Research Group

The TTRG seeks to positively influence society through impactful research.  We offer a supportive and intellectually challenging environment within which to explore key questions related our three research priorities:

• Teachers work and lives
• Teaching (curriculum, pedagogy and assessment)
• Teacher education.

The TTRG is largely driven by its membership with an organising collective that takes responsibility for ensuring that the group maintains its momentum. Members have opportunities to present their research ideas to the group, we organise ad hoc presentations and seminars in response to visitors coming to QUT, we work closely with an industry reference group to ensure that our research has impact, senior members of the group support the development early career researchers’ scholarship, and we seek to provoke debate through public forums (such as that on consent education).
