Anita works on analysis and integration of multi-omics data to identify the genetic and epigenetic markers in PTSD, stress, and other psychological disorders. She recently finished her PhD from Statistical Genomics and Epidemiology Lab, QUT, where she focused on the various methods for multi-omics data integration. She developed a novel pipeline for identifying the genetically regulated methylation biomarkers for breast and prostate cancers. Prior to her PhD, she worked as an Application Scientist in India where she contributed to RNA-seq and ChIP-Seq data analysis and pipeline development. She completed her BTech in Bioinformatics from VIT University, India, and Master of Science in Computational Biology and Bioinformatics from ETH Zurich, Switzerland.
