The Trusted Networks Lab focuses on research in modelling and understanding dynamic networks to guide reliable systems and decisions. Networks and network science provide powerful representations of physical and logical relationships to gain insights into a broad range of systems to guide value-creating decisions: (1) communication networks, cyber-physical systems and Internet of Things; (2) individual and entity relationship networks and interactions; and (3) artificial networks for representing complex data. Flagship projects in the Lab include our work on optimising blockchain for IoT and CPS and modelling people movement as networks and understanding their dynamics and how they can contribute to higher level physical processes, such as diffusion of disease over a contact network in a population. The TNL has a strong research culture and promotes research excellence and depth, as well as real-world impact.

Highly qualified student interested in PhD or Masters study with us should send their CV and statement of purpose to Prof. Raja Jurdak.
