The Disease Networks and Mobility (DiNeMo) project, a collaboration between QUT’s Trusted Networks Lab and CSIRO, has received the CSIRO Health and Biosecurity Impactful Science Award. This award is in recognition for the use of epidemiological and transport modeling to demonstrate the value of COVID safety interventions on public transport. This led to the mask wearing mandate on NSW public transport.
