Tree-Chain: A Fast Lightweight Consensus Algorithm for IoT Applications

Our paper on “Tree-Chain: A Fast Lightweight Consensus Algorithm for IoT Applications” is being presented at IEEE LCN 2020. Tree-Chainbases the validator selection on hash function output. Tree-chain introduces parallel chain branches where each validator commits the corresponding transactions in a unique ledger and thus enables the participants to agree on the state of the blockchain without relying on the longest ledger concept.
