Welcome to the Transport Engineering Group in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Queensland University of Technology.
Collectively, we are a group of researchers with significant interests and strong research records of accomplishment in transport and logistics. The group has been conducting groundbreaking research across several disciplines within the Science and Engineering Faculty, Faculty of Health, and the QUT Business School.
The Transport Engineering Group within the Science and Engineering Faculty includes researchers specialising in:
- transit (public transport) planning and operations,
- intelligent transport systems,
- traffic engineering,
- transport planning,
- road safety, and
- transport infrastructure asset management.
The Group currently involves over 30 postgraduate students solving real world transport problems.
The Group has established a number of national and international partnerships with industrial as well academic organisations.
