The Translational Genomics Group, headed by Professor Matthew Brown, has a range of research projects for potential PhD, Masters and Honours students. We welcome enquiries from self-motivated individuals interested in research projects focused on determining the biological processes underlying complex human diseases using a range of approaches, including genomics, bioinformatics, and immunological methodologies.
For an overview of the research and clinical activities undertaken by the group, please visit the Projects page. Specific projects need to align to these research areas and can be discussed further with you to tailor them to suit both your and the group’s interests and direction.
For more information on what projects are available and to discuss potential options, please contact either Professor Matthew Brown, Professor Emma Duncan, Associate Professor Paul Leo or Associate Professor Tony Kenna.
