Disease Research for Clinical Translation
A range of multidisciplinary projects are undertaken by academics and students of the Translational Genomics Group, all of which address pressing clinical questions surrounding the genetic and biological processes underlying complex human diseases, and how these conditions may be effectively treated. This research is conducted with the primary aims of not only extending the boundaries of human knowledge, but translating new knowledge into real clinical outcomes for those that suffer.
