The Australian Translational Genomics Centre (ATGC) is a partnership between QUT, Metro South HHS and Pathology Queensland to provide tumour sequencing and mutational profiling for cancer patients across Queensland. Based at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Woolloongabba, Brisbane, the centre is the first of its kind in the State, and provides clinicians treating cancer patients with advanced genetic information potentially addressing the underlying causes of tumour development, predicted outcomes and personalised treatment avenues.
The ATGC clinical genomics service is NATA-accredited to standard ISO 15189 and provides clinical reports based on next-generation sequencing of cancer samples, including gene panel and whole-exome sequencing (WES).
