The new Createc Low-temperature STM capable of 4K measurements has been successfully installed by Createc in the new Scanning Probe Microscopy laboratory in M block.
The system includes an SPM head directly mounted on a cryostat fitted to accept CreaTec flag-style sample holders (compatible with other manufacturers i.e. Omicron) with operation modes STM, qPlus©-AFM, and a preparation chamber equipped with heating and cooling manipulator (4K<T<1500K), a 3 pocket evaporator and a LEED.
