Tshewang Namgyel is an EdD candidate whose research interest is in uncovering the interplay between Nature of Science and Emotional Engagement during the teaching-learning process. He graduated from Samtse College of Education, Royal University of Bhutan with Bachelor of Education (Secondary) with Physics and Mathematics as his major in 2005. Later he got his Master of Science in Science and Technology Education from Mahidol Unversity, Thailand in 2014. He taught physics and mathematics at the secondary level in a various public school in Bhutan for the last 12 years.
