Born and raised in Ipswich, Queensland, I graduated from Griffith Film School and QUT Drama before beginning a career making dozens of music videos for some of Australia’s best bands. After two years working at MTV Australia in Sydney, I returned to Qld in ’97 and joined Cutting Edge Post. I quickly became a go-to editor for Brisbane creatives. In 2001, I moved back to Sydney and was soon travelling the world editing car commercials for Paul Street and making music videos for Russell Crowe. I moved to Los Angeles in 2006 and in between editing promos and commercials, cut two narrative features, ‘Borderlands’ and ‘The Loneliest Road In America’. I also directed and edited the feature documentary, “The Fall of Occupy LA”. I returned to Brisbane in April 2015 with a deep body of work and rejoined Cutting Edge as Senior Editor. In 2018, I became a Lecturer in Film at QUT Creative Industries with my main responsibilities being head of post-production for the graduating cohort. I also still edit casually for Cutting Edge and am pursuing my own short film and feature
projects. Here is a sample of my work:
