Tony McCormack is an EdD student whose research interest centres on framing contemporary school leadership as an entrepreneurial activity. As a practicing secondary school leader in regional and remote settings, Tony seeks to explore how entrepreneurial leadership can be described and recognised in the Queensland public secondary school ecosystem. He views school leadership as a process of opportunity identification and exploitation to create cultural and social value for the students and communities that school leaders serve. Tony is a proud QUT alumnus, holding a dual Bachelor degree in Education (Secondary) and Information Technology, and a Masters in Education (Leadership and Management).
