Priscila Rebollo De Campos (PhD Candidate)

Priscila Rebollo de Campos is a Ph.D. candidate whose interest in understanding student motivation in learning science prompted her to move from the field of natural sciences to the field of social sciences. After having taught Biology for 11 years at the secondary level, and Theoretical Foundations of Natural Sciences for two years at the tertiary level in Brazil, she decided to return to academia. To investigate student engagement with science, she will study the social bonding dynamics in science classrooms. She graduated with a Masters in Psychobiology from the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil in 2008. She crossed the world with the support of her family, friends, and students to get into this odyssey to explore classroom interactions with an emotive lens.
