I was born in French Canada (Québec) in a small community by the Saint-Lawrence river (St-Laurent) called “Rivière–du–Loup”. I have experience in the Canadian Arctic teaching French to Inuit students in Umiujaq, by the Hudson Bay and in Alberta, Canada. I have substantive experience with Learning and Teaching of the Montessori Method in the Primary years (Brisbane, Gold Coast, Melbourne and Auckland, NZ). I also taught eight years to Aboriginal adolescent students of Woorabinda, a small Murri community of Central Queensland. I lectured Indigenous pre-service teachers in mathematics and science on Tiwi Islands as part of the Growing Our Own (GOO) program. I am currently teaching Aboriginal pre-service teachers at Batchelor Institute (since 2012).
My research interest: Indigenous Science/Mathematics Education.
