Dr Georgie Nutton is a Senior Lecturer and Master of Teaching Early Childhood coordinator in College of Indigenous Futures, Education and the Arts at Charles Darwin University and a Research Fellow with Menzies School of Health Research. She has successfully managed and led major early childhood education and care and school system research projects for the Northern Territory Government and Menzies’ Centre for Child Development and Education including analyses of national and international evidence-based interventions across health, child protection, community services and education disciplines to support compelling change agendas. Georgie supervises higher degree students whilst still enjoying the privilege of researching with community and organisation lead projects in the areas of self-regulations and executive function; deep democracy and local knowledges in STEM (pending DP23 ARC application with University of Tasmania). Georgie is actively engaged in several national networks and projects for the early childhood field.
