Adam Wood is a MPhil candidate who is exploring the use of emotions during geography fieldwork. His passion lies in connecting the classroom to the outdoors by inspiring students to learn through experiential and project-based learning. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Latrobe University) and a Bachelor of Teaching (Deakin University). During his 18 years of teaching, he has taught across many facets of the social science spectrum particularly in boys’ education. In 2009 he obtained a Master of Education (Educational Leadership and Administration) and is now seeking to expand his knowledge further in contributing to the study of emotions within geography education.
