Development of a Performance Framework for the National Cities Agenda

This project developed a framework that is used by the Australian Government to establish a national approach to cities for strengthening urban competitiveness and productivity. The project provided a consistent yet dynamic approach against which the performance, progress, evolution and impact of the cities agenda can be measured, monitored, reported and communicated. The determined city performance measures formed the backbone of the Australian Smart Cities Plan’s National Cities Performance Framework.
