PhD Research Summary:
The broad aim of this PhD research project is to understand and identify pathways for a sustainable transformation of the urban transportation sector by considering and balancing electromobility, and renewable energy sources particularly in the case of South East Queensland. More specifically, the technologies, strategies, and spatial implications for green energy and transportation related infrastructure are analysed to inform urban planners and policymakers. This will contribute to facilitating the transition towards more eco-friendly and efficient mobility systems while meeting the demands of a rapidly urbanizing world.
