Understanding Community Aspects of Responsible Local Government Artificial Intelligence
PhD Research Summary:
The aim of this research is to establish a consolidated understanding of the suitable approaches for local governments to use artificial intelligence (AI) for a healthier community/client-government communication. The study will shed light on guidelines and frameworks that are in line with community expectations in order to implement more responsible innovations in the public sector. The developed frameworks will be tested in various demographic case studies from Australian and overseas local government contexts. The study will provide detailed insights into how to responsibly deploy AI technologies in their respective contexts in particularly considering the community/client-government relationships.
