Professor Scharoun is Professor of Visual Design and Head, QUT School of Design. She is a multi-award winning teacher, researcher and designer with expertise in Visual Communications and Cross-Cultural design for ageing, with her recent edited booked titled Cross-Cultural Design for Healthy Ageing. With expertise in co-design, visual and cross-cultural design in ageing, Scharoun’s focus is on eveloping / supervising the development of educational graphical assets documenting the process/experience and impact of the Sit and Shower, enabling communication and dissemination.
