Professor of Design Psychology and Director of QUT Design Lab, Evonne’s
research centres on design for health, co-designing creative health-promoting interventions. Miller has led projects and design sprints on pathways to connected, and integrated care, with her work driving change across all levels of organisations. She is a Fellow of the Australian Association of Gerontology, and Chair of the 2023 Conference. Evonne led a Facebook-funded project to put virtual reality into aged care (2021-2022), developing and deploying a free toolkit for staff, and was co-Director of the award-winning Queensland Health funded HEAL (Healthcare Excellence AcceLerator; 2020-2023) initiative putting designers into Queensland hospitals, accelerating healthcare improvement.
