Charmine Hartel is Professor of Occupational Health and IO Psychology and past Head of Management at The University of Queensland Business School in Brisbane Australia. Charmine takes a strengths-based strategic approach to career and organization development, which she has written widely on, including her book aimed at educators and practitioners, “Human Resource Management” (Pearson). Together, with colleagues, she has published numerous books, several government and industry reports, over 60 book chapters, and some 100 refereed journal articles on leadership, employment practices, work processes and conditions that enhance employee health, safety, wellbeing, social inclusion, and performance.
