The pavement model testing facility comprises a steel box measuring 1.0 m in length, 1.0 m in width, and 1.2 m in height. It includes a loading frame and a load activator capable of applying both monotonic and cyclic loading at a maximum frequency of 5 Hz. This versatile box allows the simulation of various pavement structures, equipped with instrumentation to gauge surface and subsurface stresses as well as deformations.
