The setup includes an acrylic column with an internal diameter of 390 mm and a height of 1200 mm. It is equipped with sensors/transducers for measuring soil suction, pore-water pressure, moisture content, surface and sub-surface soil deformation, as well as sensors for tracking climatic parameters such as temperature, evaporation, solar radiation, and rainfall. The system incorporates a data logger that is compatible with these sensors/transducers. It is designed for prolonged monitoring of interactions between soil and climate, soil and structure, and leaching in construction materials.
