Overview
The Signal Processing, Artificial Intelligence and Vision Technologies (SAIVT) research program is based at QUT’s Gardens Point campus.
We conduct world class research, provide postgraduate research training (PhD and MPhil research programs), and undertake commercial research, industrial consultancy and product development in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Signal Processing including Speech and Language Processing.
Our research group was established in 1989 and has seen 90 PhD students and 14 Masters by research students graduate. Currently 12 full-time PhD students are enrolled in our group. Scholarships are available to international and domestic students to undertake PhD and MPhil research with us. Please see our PhD programs page for details.
