Shubham Sharma

Shubham is a PhD scholar at the Queensland University of Technology. He completed a Master of Technology in Civil Engineering from a reputable institute in India in 2019. His research interests lie in the field of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and Transport Big Data Analytics.

His research contributions include the analysis and use of Bluetooth/Wi-Fi sensor data for traffic signal state estimation, travel time prediction, transit performance evaluation using open-source transit data (GTFS), and application of image processing in road distress identification and measurement. He has presented his work at a number of research and technical conferences.

Shubham’s current ongoing research is on the application of traffic sensors’ data in online travel demand estimation.
