Sareh Sadeghianasl

PhD, School of Information Systems

I am a computer scientist researching in process mining, the extraction of valuable knowledge from organizational event log data. Process mining includes techniques for discovering process models from event log data, conformance checking between event log and existing process models in organizations and suggesting improvements of processes in real-world organizations. My current research focuses on assessing and improving data quality of event log which is the key input for subsequent process mining analysis.

My background education is in computer science involving a range of topics, e.g. data mining, artificial intelligence, databases, conceptual modelling, software engineering, algorithms design, and programming. I am currently pursuing My PhD as part of the Business Process Management group within the school of Information Systems at QUT.
