Ryu Lippmann

PhD, School of Mathematical Sciences

Ryu is currently a PhD candidate in the School of Mathematical Sciences, supervised by A/Prof. Paul Corry, A/Prof. Kate Helmstedt, and Dr. Mark Gibbs. Working within the Reef Restoration and Adaptation Program (RRAP) on the Great Barrier Reef, his current focus is on the development of operations research models and methods to optimise the logistical deployment of reef restoration intervention technologies.

His interests include mathematical modelling, optimisation and decision support tools focusing on environmental restoration and conservation. Ryu completed a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical and Mechatronics) and Bachelor of Science (Mathematics) at the University of Technology, Sydney.
